About Our Firm
Valerie A. Shivers began her practice in elder law and estate planning at the suggestion of her grandmother, whom she lived with during law school. Later, when her grandmother developed Alzheimer’s, Valerie experienced firsthand what a large undertaking it can be to find quality care for aging loved ones while also protecting the assets they worked so hard to accumulate during their lifetime.
Their close relationship continues to have significance in Valerie’s life today. Our team works tirelessly every day to help the aging and their families navigate complex medical and financial legal issues. We honor Grandma Virginia Ortega’s impact by naming a conference room in her memory, a reminder of the importance of personalized attention and service for everyone who seeks our assistance.
Our attorneys can ease your concerns as you face the complexities of the many medical and financial issues that accompany aging, illness and disability. You not only need the legal assistance, but the attentiveness and compassion of lawyers who truly care. You will find both with Valerie A. Shivers and her associates.
We provide cost-effective legal options without keeping our clients on the clock for every phone call and question. Individuals who come to us for help find comfort in that they can turn to us when they need us.
